I’m grateful to have found your site. I’ve worn my hair natural(pretty much the fade and close to bald look) for over 20 years. I’m now attempting to loc it all. I wore the bald with 3 locs in the front for a while because I love to be different and I didn’t have the patience for a head full of locs. I’m ready to try again and hope to find encouragement and inspiration here, so I can maintain the style this time. I’ve began by two strand twisting my hair in hopes of loc(ing) it this way, as oppose to the comb twist as I did before. They were very nice before, but wanted to try something new. I’ll be here…..i wonder is there a difference between dreads and locs? Much success in maintaining a great site.
The only difference is the mentality and energy behind the term. Some people believe that wearing locs is a “DREAD”ful thing. I prefer to use ‘locs’ to promote practicing positive speaking to attract what you say, think and feel. Thanks again for the love!
